“Good picture quality but average sound” 2010-01-01
By Fani (New York, NY USA)
This TV is now old and superseded by other better 120Hz TV’s. Personally, I checked out the 120Hz v/s 60Hz TV’s at Best Buy and I couldn’t tell any difference. I think this is all a gimmick to keep making people pay for new stuff. First there was DVD quality, then ED quality which was kinda HD, then 720p, then 1080i and now BluRay and finally Full HD 1080p. Since this topic of HD is now exhausted, the newest manufacturer trick is to double the refresh rate from 60Hz to 120Hz to 240Hz etc. I have a 5-year old 1080i 50″ Hitachi LCD rear projection TV and I am happy with that. All this new stuff is just to entice customers with buzzwords.

Anyways, coming to this TV, it has good picture quality out of the box. However, the sound quality is average. I played my home music streamed through my PS3 and the sound quality was just average or even below average. There was no bass thump, no oomph in the music. It was flat, monotonous and generally average. Now, I can understand smaller TV’s needing external speakers, but this is a 32″ TV. You should give it good sound. My earlier Samsung 19″ this replaced had better sound.

PS3 over BluRay was good. Game mode is a plus since signal passes unprocessed meaning faster response time. I think this TV has 6ms response time which is good enough for most games. Unless you have super fast motion where you may see ghosting although I think that still will be rare with the 6ms.

Enough ports on the back for the PC, HDMI, component so no complaints. TV Remote is good and well laid out. Light on/off feature on remote is a nice touch for dark rooms.

The red touch of color is barely visible and I could only tell when sunlight fell on the TV. Else you cannot even tell its got the red touch. This is a silly useless feature anyways.

Oh and the swivel feature of the stand is a big plus over Sony and other TV’s in this category.

Overall, I will recommend you buy this but hear out the audio quality first in BestBuy.

Love the bright colors and super sharp picture.

Did not rate it the full 5 stars due to how thick the tv is.

“A GIFT I WOULD BUY FOR MYSELF” 2009-12-22
By Todd J. Kaminsky
So let me start off by saying this was a gift for my parents, who are not very technically advanced.
In fact, their last TV which they watched in their kitchen, was a 13″ that was probably 15 years old.
Myself, I am a person who really scrutinizes my audio/video purchases, and have found a way throughout the years to get the BEST of the Middle Class! If I were “Financially Independent” I would be the guy with a $50,000 dollar home theater system. I have enough knowledge to build one, unfortunately I do not have that monetary luxury, so I have had to do my research, meticulously reviewing every aspect of the technical spectrum, to make sure I get the most for my money, when it comes to my audio/video purchases, and have always gone to the Tippy Top End of mediocre.
As close to audiophile is I can get with my money.

With that being said, I tried to find a top of the line for what my parents would consider “top of the line”!
And since they aren’t gamers, or will be using the plethora of inputs this TV has…
All I wanted was the BEST picture within my price range…
I was originally going to go 720p, because in comparison to their old set, this would have been a HUGE upgrade.
But when physically viewing TVs this one seemed to have a better picture when on an angle, and I wanted to give them the option of Full 1080P, if they ever felt the need to have a Blu-Ray player.
And the side USB is perfect for them for viewing pictures from their camera! SIMPLE/EASY! NICE!

So I helped my parents set it up last night, and it was a BREEZE!
Other people said they had problems with the screws not fitting in the base, but ours fit perfectly…
Nice and tight! Just make sure you use the right screws for the right part!
Also…other people complained about the RED TOUCH OF COLOR not visible?????
That was one of the first things my mom noticed and commented on how pretty it looked.

THE PICTURE IS FANTASTIC! We set it up to go directly into their cable line, with the QAM TUNING…
And now they have like 100 more channels than they did before.

The remote is intuitive, and has MANY MANY features that are accesible with the push of a button…
Instead of having to scroll through an entire menu to get lost in.

Some people complained about the sound…..C’mon guys????
These are TV speakers??? They sound GREAT for TV speakers….
Sure….My parents pictures are not falling off the walls, and the cutlery in my moms silverware drawer are not rattling! But they are TV speakers, and they definitely sound better than what they had, and they actually sound pretty good for them to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune!

Maybe I’ll buy ‘em a 7.1 system for it, ya know they could put the subwoofer behind the refrigerator, and one of the rear speakers on top of the can opener! LOL

Anyway, this TV is BEAUTIFUL, has many inputs, sounds great, and is very easy to navigate to customize exactly what suits you best, I would buy it!

“excellent product, except for viewing size of photo picture can’t extend to full screen !! extend to full screen” 2009-10-12
By S S Wong (Canada)
The picture quality is excellent, except when you view the photos taken from camera, the picture size can not extend to the full size of the screen, this is one demerit of this TV. I don’t know if other brand LCD TV has the same problem, but not my Apple laptop computer. I hope SamSung should try to solve this problem !

“A miserable experience” 2009-10-11
By Sean C (Virginia, USA)
My 32 inch Samsung LCD was great for five months then died a spectacular death. While watching it one day, a huge spark arced out of the top of the TV, and it was absolutely dead. That was the start of my trouble as warranty service was horrendous. I made nearly two dozen phone calls to Samsung, their warranty service contractor and the various technicians. Scheduled service visits would result in no one showing up. It took nearly a month and a half to get replacement parts installed. I’ll never buy a Samsung product again.

Maps
When you’re connected via Wi-Fi, you can get directions, find local businesses, and check traffic.

Get Directions
Just type in an address and get directions from wherever you are. View a list of turn-by-turn directions, or see a highlighted map route. You also can mark specific locations and find the best route between them.

Enjoy the View
Just like Google Maps on your computer, Maps on iPod touch lets you switch between views of Google map data, satellite images, and a hybrid of both. Multi-Touch makes the difference. Tap to zoom, pan, and change your view on the move.

See Traffic
Maps on iPod touch shows you live traffic information, indicating traffic speed along your route in easy-to-read green, red, and yellow highlights.

Stocks, Weather, and Notes
Stay on top of it all.

Check Stocks
Stocks on iPod touch shows you performance information for any stock you choose. When you want more details about a stock’s performance, tap the Y! for instant access to Yahoo! Finance.

Check worldwide weather at home or away. Add the cities you want, then flick back and forth to get six-day forecasts for each. Tap the Y! to open a Yahoo! city guide that shows you what’s happening, rain or shine.

Calculate Simply
When you tap the Calculator icon, iPod touch shows you a simple application with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and memory functions. Use it just as you would a pocket calculator.

iPod touch now includes built-in Nike + iPod support.

Nike + iPod
Get the most out of your workout.

Tune Your Run
iPod touch now includes built-in Nike + iPod support. Just slip the Nike + iPod Sensor (available separately) into your Nike+ shoe and start your run. The sensor communicates wirelessly with your iPod touch, tracking your time, distance, and calories burned. It even gives you voice feedback on your progress.

Tune Your Cardio Workout
This feature also works with new cardio equipment available in many fitness centers. Just look for treadmills, ellipticals, stair steppers, and stationary bikes that are Nike + iPod compatible.

Sync with Nikeplus.com
When you get back to your computer, sync your iPod touch via iTunes and transfer your exercise data to nikeplus.com, where you can track your workouts, set goals, and challenge friends.

Multi-Touch
iPod touch features the same revolutionary interface as iPhone.

Glide, Flick, Pinch
Built to take full advantage of the large 3.5-inch display, the Multi-Touch touchscreen interface lets you control everything using only your fingers. So you can glide through albums with Cover Flow, flick through photos and enlarge them with a pinch, zoom in and out on a section of a web page, and control game elements precisely.

How it Works
The Multi-Touch display layers a protective shield over a capacitive panel that senses your touch using electrical fields. It then transmits that information to the LCD screen below it. iPod touch software enables the flick, tap, and pinch.

Type with the Touchscreen Keyboard
iPod touch features an intelligent touchscreen keyboard perfect for browsing the web in Safari, getting directions on a map, searching for videos on YouTube, finding music on the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store, or adding new contacts. It analyzes keystrokes to suggest words as you type and correct spelling errors automatically. And because it’s software based, it changes its keys to support typing in multiple languages.

iPod touch locates nearby wireless hotspots, including protected networks.

Accelerometer
iPod touch responds to motion using a built-in accelerometer.

Responds to Movement
iPod touch detects when you rotate it from portrait to landscape, then automatically changes the contents of the display. So you immediately see the entire width of a web page, view a photo in its proper aspect ratio, or control a game using only your movements.

How it Works
The accelerometer inside iPod touch uses three elements: a silicon mass, a set of silicon springs, and an electrical current. The silicon springs measure the position of the silicon mass using the electrical current. Rotating iPod touch causes a fluctuation in the electrical current passing through the silicon springs. The accelerometer registers these fluctuations and tells iPod touch to adjust the display accordingly.

Perfect for Gaming
Accelerometer technology really shines when you play games because it immerses you in the action. It’s perfect for racing games–where your entire iPod touch acts as a steering wheel–and for tap-and-tilt games like Super Monkey Ball, in which your character responds to your every movement.

Wireless
Connect iPod touch to the Internet anywhere there’s a wireless network.

Connect Automatically
iPod touch locates nearby wireless hotspots, including protected networks. If you’ve never used a particular network, it asks you to enter a password the first time, and it remembers the password from then on. So the next time you’re within range, it connects automatically.

Surf’s Up
Now you can send email from a coffee shop. Surf the web at the airport. Shop for games from your couch. Browse, buy, and download music from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store at select Starbucks locations or other wireless hotspots in your area.

By Jessica Lee
I was so thrilled when I got this mailed to me. Factory sealed and everything like new. The ipod itself is amazing with all the apps apple has to offer. When theres wireless internet wifi picks up and runs smooth. What I like best is while its plugged into the PC, you can still browse wifi and listen to music like normal. The battery life isn’t at best but can be saved while on stand by/ don’t have to turn it off when not in use, or just have wifi turned off.

Next-Level Fun: The New iPod touch

Music
Flick through your albums. Listen to a unique mix created just for you. Or watch the video for your favorite song. With iPod touch, it’s more than just hearing your music.

Cover Flow
What a song does for your ears, Cover Flow on iPod touch does for your eyes and fingers. It’s a virtual party for the senses. Turn iPod touch on its side and glide through your music by album art with the flick of your finger. Tap an album cover to flip it over and display a track list. Tap again to start the music.

Genius Mixes
Now the Genius feature is even more powerful. Introducing Genius Mixes. All you do is sync iPod touch to iTunes, and Genius automatically searches your library to find songs that sound great together. Then it creates multiple mixes you’ll love. These mixes are like channels programmed entirely with your music.

Genius Playlists
Say you’re listening to a song you really like and want to hear other tracks that go great with it. The Genius feature finds other songs on your iPod touch that sound great with the one you were listening to and makes a Genius playlist for you. Listen to the playlist right away, save it for later, or even refresh it and give it another go. Count on Genius to create a mix you wouldn’t have thought of yourself.

Shake to Shuffle
Shake things up a bit. Musically speaking, that is. The next time you’re listening to your tunes, turn on Shake to Shuffle, then give iPod touch a shake to shuffle to a different song in your music library.

iTunes
Fill your iPod touch with songs and music videos from your iTunes library on your computer. Or buy and download new music on your iPod touch when you access iTunes over Wi-Fi. Songs you purchase on iPod touch transfer to your Mac or PC the next time you connect iPod touch to your computer.

Bluetooth
Look, no cables. iPod touch includes the iPhone 3.1 software, so you can pair Bluetooth stereo headphones with it. Keep your iPod in your bag or charging on your desk across the room and still listen to your music.

Carry hours of video with you and watch it on the crisp 3.5-inch color widescreen display.

Voice Control
Voice Control on the new 32 GB and 64 GB iPod touch gives you the ability to control music playback with spoken commands. You say it. iPod touch plays it. And shuffles it, pauses it, or names it.

Say and Play
Voice Control knows the music in your iPod touch. Want to hear something specific? All you have to do is ask. For instance, say “Play artist Bob Dylan,” and iPod touch does just that. Ask what song is playing and hear iPod touch answer. Tell it to play your favorite album, artist, or playlist. Speak simple commands such as “shuffle,” “next song,” and “pause.” Even have iPod touch play more songs like the one you’re listening to.

Search Your Inbox
No need to scroll through message after message in your inbox looking for the right one. A quick downward flick brings up a search field that lets you find email by sender, recipient, subject, or all headers.

Calendar
Calendar works with Yahoo!, Google, Microsoft Outlook, iCal, MobileMe, and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync for enterprise. Add events. Set reminder alerts. Subscribe to calendars for things such as national holidays and sports schedules.

iPod touch Technology

Pioneering hardware technology built into iPod touch is how you’re able to flick, tap, and pinch. It’s what makes that racing game feel so real. It’s why you’re able to tweet what you just overheard in the cafe. And it’s the reason iPod touch is the most amazing iPod you’ll ever own.

Multi-Touch
The Multi-Touch display layers a protective shield over a capacitive panel that senses your touch using electrical fields. It then transmits that information to the LCD screen below it. So you can glide through albums with Cover Flow, flick through photos and enlarge them with a pinch, zoom in and out on a section of a web page, and control game elements precisely.

Accelerometer
The accelerometer inside iPod touch allows it to detect when you rotate iPod touch from portrait to landscape, then automatically changes the contents of the display. The accelerometer really shines when you play games, because it immerses you in the action. It’s perfect for racing games, where your entire iPod touch acts as a steering wheel, and for tap-and-tilt games such as Rolando, in which your movements control the action.

Wireless
iPod touch has built-in support for 802.11b/g wireless technology. That means you can get online anywhere there’s Wi-Fi. Send email from a coffee shop. Surf the web at the airport. Shop for games from your couch. Browse, buy, and download music and more from the iTunes Store. iPod touch locates nearby wireless hotspots, including protected networks. If you’ve never used a particular network, Wireless Icon it asks you to enter a password the first time, and it remembers the password from then on. So the next time you’re within range, it connects automatically.

Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a form of wireless technology that lets you use devices without the hassle of cables or wires. What does that mean for iPod touch? It means you can use iPod touch with Bluetooth headphones and listen to your music no matter where in the room your iPod touch is. So lounge on your bed, while your iPod touch charges on your desk. Bluetooth on iPod touch is also great for peer-to-peer gaming.

Design
iPod touch is as remarkable outside as it is inside. Holding one is all the proof you need. With its curved design, iPod touch is a mere 8.5 mm thin. Its optical glass front and polished stainless steel back feel sleek and smooth in your hand. Turn it on, and instantly you’re impressed by the brilliant 3.5-inch display. iPod touch is the perfect combination of stunning design and revolutionary technology–the total, beautiful package.

“GIFT FOR MY 14 AND 10 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER” 2009-12-28
By Sharon Pina (Lubbock, TX)
Now my kids can drive me crazy everywhere with the loud speakers on the ipod touch. My kids love it. I thought there was an internal camera and there isn’t. We have 4 of them in the home and we couldn’t figure out how to have their own itunes account. It took me a little while but I finally figured it out. Also, we now have two email accounts each because it wouldn’t let us use our hotmail accounts. Other then that it is a great product. The internet has been great and now my lap top is mine again.

Developers all over the world are creating exciting games unlike anything you’ve ever seen on an iPod or mobile device. Many games come alive with stunning 3D graphics and immerse you in the action with the advanced technologies in iPod touch. There’s even a built-in speaker, so you can hear all the action.

Fingertip Control
Many games for iPod touch use Multi-Touch to give you precise, fingertip control over game elements. Use your finger to drag your pieces around the board in chess or dice games. Or pinch to enlarge or shrink your view, rotate your character left or right, or just tap to make a selection.

Tilt, Turn, and Go
The built-in accelerometer actually responds to your movements, so you can tilt and turn your iPod touch to control the action. It’s perfect for racing games–where your entire iPod touch acts as a steering wheel–and for tap-and-tilt games like Super Monkey Ball, in which your character rolls to your movements.

The App Store
Even if games aren’t your thing, there’s an iPod touch application for you. Thousands of applications in almost every category–entertainment, social networking, sports, photography, reference, and travel–are a tap away at the App Store.

Three Ways to View
iPod touch gives you three ways to view your calendars. List view shows you all your appointments in the coming days as a comprehensive list, which you can scroll up and down. Day view displays one day’s worth of appointments visually. And Month view offers an at-a-glance look at an entire month.

Contacts
Put names, email addresses, phone numbers, and more at your fingertips.

Make Contact

Organized by Groups
If you keep your contacts organized into groups–such as co-workers, friends, family, and so on–iPod touch will, too. And iPod touch can hold more than just names, email addresses, and phone numbers. You also can track birthdays, websites, nicknames, and notes.

Stocks, Weather, and Notes
Stay on top of it all.

Check Stocks
Stocks on iPod touch shows you performance information for any stock you choose. When you want more details about a stock’s performance, tap the Y! for instant access to Yahoo! Finance.

“Great buy” 2009-12-22
By Jessica Lee
I was so thrilled when I got this mailed to me. Factory sealed and everything like new. The ipod itself is amazing with all the apps apple has to offer. When theres wireless internet wifi picks up and runs smooth. What I like best is while its plugged into the PC, you can still browse wifi and listen to music like normal. The battery life isn’t at best but can be saved while on stand by/ don’t have to turn it off when not in use, or just have wifi turned off.

Stocks on iPod touch shows you performance information for any stock you choose.
Check worldwide weather at home or away.
Pioneering hardware technology built into iPod touch is how you’re able to flick, tap, and pinch.

iPod touch also includes these useful apps:

Calendar
Calendar works with Yahoo!, Google, Microsoft Outlook, iCal, MobileMe, and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync for enterprise. Add events. Set reminder alerts. Subscribe to calendars for things such as national holidays and sports schedules.

Contacts
Put names, email addresses, phone numbers, and more at your fingertips. Sync contacts on your Mac or PC to iPod touch using iTunes. Add new contacts on the go with a tap.

Notes
Forget the pen and paper. Use Notes on iPod touch to write yourself a quick note and keep important information on hand. A built-in email function lets you send notes to yourself or others.

Stocks
Stocks on iPod touch shows you performance information for any stock you choose. When you want more details about a stock’s performance, tap the Y! for instant access to Yahoo! Finance.

Weather
Check worldwide weather at home or away. Add the cities you want, then flick back and forth to get six-day forecasts for each. Tap the Y! to open a Yahoo! city guide that shows you what’s happening, rain or shine.

Calculator
Calculator on iPod touch does double duty. In portrait mode, you can use Calculator for simple calculations. Rotate iPod touch to landscape, and it becomes a sophisticated scientific calculator.

iPod touch Technology

“Enjoyable with Limited Capacity” 2009-12-28
By Kurt Everhart (Guntersville, AL USA)
I recently bought the 8G iPod touch anticipating that the 8G capacity will easily hold all songs that I will ever want. Friends tell me that it will fill up sooner than I think and I am starting to believe that. Anyway, so far the iPod is easy and fun to use. It was quick and easy to set up and downloads are no problem, even for a beginner to the iPod world like me. I recommend this product. I will add that this item was lost in the mail and after Amazon verified it was lost, they replaced the item at no additional charge or questions asked – that’s great service.

“Outstanding battery life and portability” 2009-12-28
By T. Schwenk
The new generation of Kindle has solved essentially all of the problems with the first generation. It is easy to use and easy to read, has long battery life and is convenient to pack and carry. The pictures are of fairly poor quality compared to those in a book, which is sometimes a problem, but relatively small. Once you start using a Kindle, and having access to books so easily and less expensively, it is hard to justify buying actual books.

The product is execellent. However I had problem with the shipping. I received the shipment after 10 days of estimated delivery date. I would recommend not to use ground shipping during holiday seasons.

“Don’t be fooled” 2009-11-25
By D. Duong (Rockville, MD)
I could see some people looking at this and seeing it as a gread deal but it really isn’t. The list price of $100 is totally bogus, they just want you to believe you are getting this great deal. It’s pretty misleading. This thing doesn’t even come with an AC adapter and the tuning isn’t even digital. Also, this isn’t really an Ipod Dock, the dock isn’t an insert for an ipod, it’s just a 3.5mm auxiliary jack.

Just make sure you read the description carefully before deciding to get this. It’s basically a nice looking clock radio that is compatible with devices with a 3.5mm output, which for $16 I guess isn’t too bad.

“DO NOT BE FOOLED” 2009-11-17

I was so excited to get this player because it looks cool and it is Super Cheap! Well, it’s gone down from $100 to $16 for a reason … it doesn’t work! Mine didn’t come with a plug and when I tried brand new batteries it wouldn’t turn on! Everyone in my family tried getting it to work to no avail … I sent it back!

“Complete let down” 2009-10-29
By Jessica R. Wasson
When I looked at this item, I was excited. It looks like my old lp player, but it is just a hunk of junk. It runs on 4 AA’s and comes with no ac adapter. If you find an adapter, you can leave the batteries in, but it wont act as a back up if the power fails. You can’t set the alarm to radio or MP3, only the 8 highly annoying tones on the item (two of which are holiday themed). You can’t read the time because the display contorts it if you don’t look at it strait on. My ipod didn’t fit it. I didn’t check to look, and thats my fault, but it does not charge your ipod. The biggest thing too is that it is sold as an alarm clock, but on the box it calls it a portable speaker box. All in all it is not worth the $25 price I paid. If the original price is $100, then the people who set the price are out of their minds.

The only issue is that there is a small mark on the back of the case but I will keep it any ways. It is small and on the back.

“My Husband is THE BEST EVER… WOW! A KINDLE!!” 2009-12-26
By BooksJJS (Lakewood, CO USA)
My husband, superhero in all ways in my book, just went totally over the top this Christmas and bought me the Kindle DX. I was so surprised, and so touched. The Kindle has been on my Wish List forever, and I recently changed the wish to the new one… but he knows me so well he didn’t even need to look at the Wish List. He just made it happen. Wow. I figured it would just be out there in “someday” wish-land. Now here it is.

It is gorgeous, highly readable, easy to set up and use, and with the leather cover that he also provided, I feel confident that the Kindle will stay in great shape! I’m a huge reader, with a house overrun by books and several magazine subscription, so the Kindle is a huge advantage in terms of clutter reduction! Of course I will still buy special books for my library, but most books just aren’t special enough to add to an already large collection. The point is to READ them, and that’s where the Kindle DX comes in.

I am also always on the go and VERY tired of lugging books with me (after all, we really can’t leave home without them, can we?). This device will save me from hefting books around. The fact that it is also PDF compatible is amazing and wonderful, as many things I read are in that format… but then one either has to be at the computer or print reams of documents to read them. That is solved with the Kindle as well.

The Kindle DX is the biggest, best, most fabulous reading device on the market.

Again, all I can say is WOW!! I love that you can download samples of books under consideration, and the included Kindle Guide is wonderful and easy to understand. A sure winner… Now I can lug around TONS of books and not strain so much as my little finger.

Fabulous device, and I am one lucky woman!

“out of the box – not a MAC” 2009-12-26
By James Lheureux (NY)
my wife raved about this device and bought me one for Christmas. She insisted that we can give up all out magazine and newspapers that clutter up the house. I have the Kindle app on my iPhone and thought “why not?”
initial out of the box is SO disappointing. perhaps it’s the odd interface and the lack of touch screen. perhaps it’s the requirement to register which has now FAILED twice with the request “Please try again later” – what is this? the post office??
so while I was ready to embrace it, I am now preparing to send it back.

“Attention Rural Owners!” 2009-12-26
By D. Harless (Kentucky)
I got my Kindle DX for Christmas and have had it for a little over 24 hours. I have been reading on it almost constantly except for sleeping in that time. I love it. I find myself forgetting that I am reading from an electronic device and try to turn the page. The only cons I find are the lack of a backlight, really for the price you pay it should include a backlight and the internet connection. I live in Eastern Kentucky in the Appalachain Mountains and our 3G service is non-existant. I will for the near future have to download my books to my computer and then to the Kindle. It is painless process and one that I expected due to my location. Never fear,if you live in a rural area you can still download your books in about a minute. I don’t believe that Amazon makes that clear enough. I also have the leather cover which is a great asset.

“Newspaper first thing in the am” 2009-12-26
By Anonymous (Keno, OR USA)
I bought the Kindle because I live in a rural area and I had to wait for the local post office to sort the national newspaper into my box (around 11 am or so), assuming no bad weather and that the paper actually made it across the mountain. I’d still prefer a real paper, but it is absolutely wonderful to get my paper first thing in the morning now on my Kindle DX. Problem solved.

I still think the larger form factor is worth the extra cost. (I’m replacing a paper, not a book). The battery life is horrible with the wireless on, won’t make it four days.

“Best purchase ever” 2009-12-26
By Joanne (Colorado Springs, CO)
I am a kindle 1 owner and I never regretted upgrading to the kindle dx. I like the larger screen with the optional landscape or portrait reading surface. The dx page turns are fast and the battery life long. I also like the fact that I can read pdf files on this kindle. I simple love my Kindle DX and it was worth the price.
